Pine Labs launches payment gateway platform Plural
On Thursday, Pine Labs launched its payment gateway platform Plural, thus marking the IPO-bound payment and merchant’s commerce company’s entry into the online payments ecosystem.
In an interview, the firm stated that they will be focusing on acquiring partnerships with digital merchants, financial institutions, and payments collected by government offices, to be able to capture a share of India’s digital payments market
Amrish Rau, chief executive at Plural commented, “Through Plural, we’ll be able to offer merchants a solution which has integrated all kinds of payment solutions in the market. We had been running on stealth mode processing payments worth $150-$200 million monthly with over 250 merchant partners including Chroma, Cred, and Reliance Digital.”
Headed by former PayPal executive Tanya Naik, Plural will be offering three products in the form of Plural Gateway (customisable payment gateway), Plural Checkout (mobile software kit), and Plural Console (payment orchestration platform).
The Noida-based parent firm Pine Labs is India’s third most valued fintech after Paytm and PhonePe.
