KukuFM in talks to raise $15-20M in Series B round
Regional language based podcast platform recently announced that it is in talks to raise $15-20 million in its Series B round. The round may see participation from existing investors India Quotient and Vertex Ventures.
The company, as per a YourStory report, is looking for an investor to lead the round. The specifics of said investor are still unknown.
Founded in 2018 by Lal Chand Bisu, Vinod Meena, and Vikas Goyal, KukuFM is a curated platform wherein users from Tier II and III cities can create audio content in Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati, and Tamil, as well as other regional languages.
The platform raised $5.5 million in its Series A round from Vertex Ventures, India Quotient and 3one4 Capital, among other existing investors.
