Gvriksh launches Global Womennovator Summit 2021


NPO Gvriksh virtually launched the Global Womennovator Summit 2021 and the 1000 Women of Asia Award yesterday. 

The weeklong summit was organised with support from the Government of India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the Department of Science and Technology, the Development Commissioner under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the Consulate General of India, Invest India, and AGNI.

The annual summit aims to recognise and uplift up-and-coming women entrepreneurs, leaders, and influencers. The seventh edition of the summit involves the participation of government officials, celebrities, industrialists, and entrepreneurs such as Naina Lal Kidwai (banker), Swati Piramal (scientist and industrialist), and Nandita Das (actor and director), among others.

Womennovator,

“The objective of establishing Womennovator is not just to empower the empowered but to go to Tier II and III cities, districts and villages to create opportunities for women by connecting them to our leaders and mentors at Womennovator,” stated founder of Womennovator, Tripti Shinghal Somani.

The summit focuses on providing training in digital marketing, branding, opportunities to network with industry leaders and investors, along with product sampling after a ten-week period of incubation for 130 women entrepreneurs.
