IIT Bombay’s Eureka! 2021: The joy of building something new

With its staunch belief in fostering the spirit of ingenuity and diligence in the young people of the country, IIT Bombay’s E-cell returns with its 23rd installment of Eureka!. This five month long experience aims to develop early stage startups into complete market fits. As Asia’s largest business model competition, Eureka! is all geared up to give contests access to the global startup ecosystem- with participants from 6 countries of the GCC region.
Eureka! has been providing platforms to entrepreneurs for over two decades. With some of its most notable contests including SocialCops (one of four companies chosen by Google for their accelerator program) and Leaf (one of ten startups chosen to accompany the Prime Minister on his visit to Silicon Valley), it has a history of uplifting its contents to the pinnacles of success.
The initiative aims to provide workshops on entrepreneurship to over 5000 students across India; fast-track the growth of semi-finalist startups via mentorship through renowned VC partners and angel investors; and advance the skilling of the semi-finalists’ startups through various technical and non-technical workshops.
The winners of this year’s Eureka! will win a completely funded trip to Expo! 2020, Dubai to represent the Indian startup ecosystem. Prizes worth INR 80 lakhs await teams with an idea and the zeal to make it work!
