Beauty and Lifestyle unicorn Good Glamm Group geared to set up influencer marketing and data analytics venture

The beauty and lifestyle unicorn Good Glamm Group is geared to set up a new influencer marketing and data analytics venture, Good Creator Co. Sources reveal that the unicorn will invest a sum of $200 million in the new venture as a seed fund.
Simultaneously, the group has also acquired two major platforms Winkl and Vidooly. While Winkl is an influencer and data analytics platform, Vidooly is a content and creator analytics company. The content to commerce platform plans to merge the operations of its existing companies MissMalini and Plixxo along with Winkl and Vidooly to operate under a common name of Good Creator Co.
The funding of $200 million will be deployed primarily to build technology platforms, acquire and invest in corresponding influencer companies as well as enhancing technology solutions. The Good Creator Co will operate independently from the Good Glamm Group and raise subsequent rounds of funding from external investors.
Talking about the new venture along with the area of intervention, the co-founder of Good Glamm Group, Priyanka Gill said, “Good Creator Co will help brands connect with potential consumers in India’s smallest markets, through national, regional or hyper local influencers, with the help of data service providers and content creators. The company has 30,000 offline points of sale. Good Creator Co is creating a full-stack ecosystem to offer content creators and influencers access to brand campaigns, monetisation opportunities, and celebrity talent management services, content creation solutions for OTT and movie production opportunities.”
