We Condemn The Decision, says IT minister on Twitter layoffs

Ashwini Vaishnaw, the minister of communications, electronics, and information technology, has denounced the move and stated that the fired workers should have been given adequate time to transfer to a new endeavour in the country’s first formal response to the mass firing of Twitter employees.
Vaishnaw responded, “We deplore the way Twitter has fired employees in India,” when questioned about the layoffs. They need to have provided adequate transition time for the workers.
After Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter, which opted to fire half of its 7,500 global employees, the minister made his comments. Sources claim that the impact was considerably worse in India, where over 180 of the company’s 230 employees received pink slips with immediate effect. The dismissals occurred in a variety of fields, including content curation, sales, communications, and marketing.
