Info Edge Ventures leads Rs 20 Cr Series A round in YOGa Clean Air

Indoor air-quality company YOGa Clean Air has raised Rs 20 crore in a Series A funding round led by Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Zomato/Eternal founder Deepinder Goyal and Three Words Capital.
The company said in a press release that it will use the fresh capital to deepen its presence in existing markets, expand into new Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities, and extend its systems to public transport and other outdoor environments.
Founded in 2019 by Sachin Panwar, Deepak Raina and Gaurav Nagar, YOGa Clean Air offers its patented Clean Air Bubble technology, which filters incoming air and maintains slightly higher air pressure inside a space to prevent polluted air from entering. The system also manages carbon dioxide levels to maintain indoor air quality.
The Gurugram-based company claims its systems currently serve more than 5,000 families and hundreds of institutions, including hospitals, schools, offices and gyms, across 11 Indian cities, including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad. It holds two patents for its technology.
YOGa said its systems have reduced indoor air pollution to single-digit levels even when outdoor pollution crossed 900 µg/m³, while keeping CO₂ levels in check. The company also claims a 100% renewal rate for its annual maintenance contracts.
The indoor air-quality segment has seen startups move beyond conventional air purifiers into areas such as air-quality monitoring, HVAC-integrated filtration, pathogen control, plant-based purification and industrial emission control.
Pune-based NovorbisItus recently secured Rs 13.35 crore ($1.6 million) in seed funding led by Rainmatter for emission-control and air-purification systems. Airth, which develops filters that convert conventional air conditioners into air purifiers, has also raised funding as it expands its indoor air-quality offerings.
Other players in the segment include uBreathe Life, operated by Urban Air Labs, which has received Technology Development Board support for its plant-based indoor air-purification technology, and Biomoneta, which is developing medical-grade air-cleaning solutions.
