Indian startup MoEngage adds $180m funding in series F


Indian customer engagement platform MoEngage has raised an additional $180 million in its ongoing Series F round, bringing the total for the extension to $280 million following a $100 million tranche closed in November.

The latest investment was led by new backers ChrysCapital and Dragon Funds, with participation from Schroders Capital and continued support from existing investors TR Capital and B Capital. The round also featured a $15 million employee liquidity programme and selective secondary sales for early backers.

Proceeds will accelerate development of the Merlin AI suite—a set of AI agents for campaign orchestration and decisioning—while expanding go-to-market teams in North America and EMEA. MoEngage is also eyeing strategic acquisitions to broaden platform capabilities amid surging demand for unified marketing and product engagement tools.

Serving over 1,350 global brands across retail, e-commerce, fintech, and telecom, MoEngage powers personalised experiences for more than 2 billion consumers monthly in 75 countries. Recent recognitions include “Customers’ Choice” in Gartner Peer Insights for Multichannel Marketing Hubs and “Strong Performer” in Forrester’s Cross-Channel Marketing Hubs Wave.

The capital infusion underscores enterprise momentum as companies migrate from legacy martech stacks to AI-native platforms that bridge marketing and product teams for connected customer journeys.
