Indian Bank Launches Exclusive Startup Hubs in 10 Cities

Public sector institution Indian Bank has announced the creation of 10 dedicated startup centers in various locations nationwide, catering to the distinct financial needs of these emerging businesses. The startup cells have been strategically established in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Chennai, New Delhi, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kanpur, and Mumbai. In line with this initiative, the Chennai-based public sector bank has curated a range of tailor-made banking solutions and services exclusively designed to meet the distinctive and specialized financial requisites of startups.
Among the offerings are inclusive payment gateways, corporate credit cards, and credit options, in addition to the bank’s existing product lineup, according to an official statement. “The launch of the startup cells is a major milestone in Indian Bank’s journey to support the growth of the startup ecosystem in India,” remarked Indian Bank’s MD and CEO, S L Jain, following the inauguration of the Chennai center. On the occasion of the bank’s 117th Foundation Day, Jain virtually inaugurated the nine other startup cells across different cities. These specialized branches will feature dedicated relationship managers who will collaboratively work with startups to foster ongoing engagement throughout their business lifecycle.
Further enhancing its support for startups, Indian Bank has introduced the ‘IND SPRINGBOARD’ custom loan product, tailored to address the unique financial challenges faced by startups.
