From 75+ Health Checks to AI-Powered Preventive Care: DOD’s Health Kiosk Draws Attention at UP International Trade Show 2026

At a trade show where some of the country’s biggest conversations around business, technology, manufacturing and innovation were unfolding, one healthcare innovation stood out for a very different reason, it brought a glimpse of the future of preventive healthcare into the exhibition hall.

DOD – Doctors On Duty showcased its AI-powered Health Kiosk at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2026, giving visitors an opportunity to experience a technology-enabled approach to health screening that brings multiple assessments, digital reporting and access to healthcare into a single platform.

Held from September 25 to 29 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, the fourth edition of UPITS was inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath. The five-day trade show brought together more than 2,400 exhibitors, international buyers, businesses, startups, entrepreneurs and industry representatives from across India and overseas.

Against this backdrop, DOD’s Health Kiosk offered visitors a closer look at how healthcare technology can move beyond conventional hospital and diagnostic-centre settings.

The kiosk brings together a range of health assessments including blood pressure, blood glucose, ECG and cardiac parameters, body analysis, lung function, vision and other screening capabilities, with digital reporting and technology-enabled access to doctors. One of its key propositions is the ability to conduct more than 75 health tests in around 10 minutes, making comprehensive screening faster and more accessible.

The technology attracted considerable attention from visitors and media during the trade show. NDTV reported on the DOD Health Assessment Pod as an innovation capable of conducting more than 75 tests and generating a report within minutes, while highlighting its potential to reduce the need for people to repeatedly visit hospitals and diagnostic centres for basic health assessments.

The kiosk was also highlighted by ABP News, which focused on its portable format and its potential to take health screening closer to people including communities where access to hospitals and diagnostic facilities may be limited.

For DOD, the response at UPITS reinforced a larger idea behind the technology: preventive healthcare becomes more powerful when it is accessible before a person reaches a hospital.

The Health Kiosk has been designed to combine diagnostics, AI-enabled health insights and digital healthcare access in a format that can potentially be deployed across rural and urban communities, workplaces, institutions, residential areas and other high-footfall locations.

The larger scale of UPITS further amplified the significance of the showcase. The event brought together leaders from government, industry and international trade, including Shri Amit Shah, Shri Yogi Adityanath and Union Commerce & Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, who participated in key sessions during the five-day event.

For DOD, being part of such a platform was an opportunity to place healthcare innovation within a broader conversation around India’s technology-led growth. While UPITS showcased everything from manufacturing and traditional industries to emerging technologies and global trade opportunities, DOD’s presence highlighted another important area of innovation – making healthcare more accessible through technology.

According to the founders of DOD, Dr. Shrey Srivastav and Dr. Prashant Swarnkar said, DOD’s vision behind the Health Kiosk comes from a simple observation: many people, particularly in underserved and rural areas, do not complete necessary health checks because of distance, cost, time or limited access to healthcare facilities. The kiosk is being developed to address that gap by bringing multiple assessments closer to the patient while also creating a pathway to medical consultation.

The model also goes beyond diagnostics. By combining health screening with AI-enabled insights, digital health reports and doctor connectivity, DOD aims to move healthcare from a largely reactive model, where people seek care after a problem develops, towards a more preventive and accessible model.

The UP International Trade Show gave visitors a chance to see that vision in action.

As healthcare increasingly intersects with AI, connected diagnostics and digital platforms, DOD’s Health Kiosk represents an effort to take that technology out of the laboratory and closer to everyday life – where early detection, timely medical advice and preventive healthcare can make the greatest difference.
