FMCG Index Trading In Green; Globus Spirits Top FMCG Gainer

After plunging in the early hours of the trading session Sensex is attempting to recover. FMCG is trading in green with the help of Brewery stocks such as Globus Spirits and Associated Alcohol and Breweries Ltd. FMCG index top gainer is the Globus, up by 20 percent, locked in the upper circuit. Associated Alcohol Breweries rose by 9% nearly. S h Kelkar has increased by more than 6% while Advanced Enzymes soared by more than 5%.
Furthermore, Bajaj Hindustan gained nearly 5% and is also locked in the upper circuit. Moreover, Renuka Sugars is up by 5% and locked in the upper circuit. ADF foods, Nath Bio Genes, Marico, and Dawat are all trading with gains of more than one percent each.Marico along with Tata consumer products, Nestle, and UBL are contributing the most to the index gains. However, UBL is up by more than 2 percent while Nestle gained nearly 1 percent. It has been often seen FMCG stocks outperform when market volatility increases.
