Edtech startup TutAR has raised seed funding from April Ventures, SalesboxAI’s founder Roy Rajan


TutAR, an edtech firm run by Infusory Future Tech Labs Pvt Ltd, has raised an undisclosed sum in a seed round led by April Ventures and SalesboxAI founder Roy Rajan. TutAR said in a statement that the new capital will enable the Kerala-based firm develop its operations, including adding new personnel to build a world-class workforce and upgrading technology.

TutAR is an edtech company that allows teachers to employ augmented reality (AR) models in their everyday online and offline classes, as well as in the metaverse, to assist students better understand subjects. Android, iOS, MacOS, and Windows users can download the app.

Thomson Tom, Shyam Pradeep Alil, and Suvith S founded TutAR in 2020 with the goal of using technology to help teachers more effectively convey information to students all across the world.

Infusory’s vision, according to Shyam Pradeep Alil, Co-founder and CTO, is to use technology to improve the teaching and learning process and build a global eco-system for instructors and learners. TutAR Founder also helps institutions create up their own AR/VR labs and metaverses to help students study, experience, and understand new topics in a unique way.

According to Suvith S, TutAR’s CSO, the business has developed a next-generation reality platform that can be utilized by any learning provider to incorporate 3D augmented reality models into what they teach, making each session more engaging and enjoyable.

Roy Rajan, Founder of SalesboxAI, expressed his delight at becoming a part of Infusory’s mission to educate instructors and students to the realm of AR/VR and the metaverse.
