Dealshare appoints Venkatesh Tarakkad as chief financial officer

Founded in 2018 by Vineet Rao, an IIT Mumbai passout, Dealshare is an e-commerce startup which claims to be one of the quickest entrants to the unicorn club. A hyperlocal online buying platform for multi-category consumer products focuses on ‘whattsapp first’ India. Presently operates in 100 towns and cities across 10 states with a vision to reach out to more than 300 places.
Previously the CFO of logistics startup Ecom express and carrying an experience of 25 years in the field of retail and e-commerce Tarakkad has also worked with brands like Coca-Cola and EY. He will help the business to scale rapidly, increase efficiency and improve profitability.
