Customer Experience Tech Startup Birdeye raises $60M in Series C funding round via Accel-KKR

The Palo Alto, California, headquartered customer experience tech startup, Birdeye, on Friday announced its raise of about $60 million in a Series C funding round led by Accel-KKR.
Birdeye was founded in 2012 by Naveen Gupta and Neeraj Gupta. It will use this growth capital in order to accelerate its product development. The funds will also be used by the startup in order to expand its market reach into geographies like Australia and the UK.
CEO Naveen Gupta said that they help local businesses to join the digital revolution without any hassle of complicated and costly software. They allow local businesses to compete and win with larger organisations. They have been planning to make this a global movement.

Over 80,000 local businesses have been helped by Birdeye in order to manage customer experience and interactions in the digital-first world for businesses so as to focus on what matters the most is their customers.
Varied services, including collecting payments, automating reviews or referrals, and managing communications, expected to attract new customers and drive revenue has been provided by the Birdeye’s technology platform.
