Community led learning platform Growth School raises $5 million in a new round of funding


Community led learning platform Growth School has recently announced that it has raised a sum of $5 million in a funding round led by Sequoia Capital along with Owl Ventures. 

This was a special round and marked a milestone for the startup as this round saw the participation of over 80 prominent angel investors including Kumal Shah, Nikhil Kamath, Ritesh Agarwal as well as Tanmay Bhatt. Multiple international angel investors like Austen Allred, Shaan Puri and Eric Sui also took keen interest in the round.

“We believe that GrowthSchool has the potential to fundamentally shift how learners upskill and prepare for their personal and professional lives today,” Kriti Bansal of Owl Ventures said.

The company executives have stated that the recent round of funding will be utilised to expand the pre-existing team size as well as to build a robust technology platform. Furthermore, the startup also plans to deploy the funds to venture into newer markets as well as to explore metaverse for education. 

“I founded Growth School with the mission of helping people get the best skill upgradation from top professionals in the industry, over the shortest period of time. We aim to be the go-to platform for learners all over the world to acquire skills from the top 1% of industry experts,” Vaibhav Sisinty, founder of Growth School said.
