Cold Love Raises Rs. 2.5 Crore in Angel Funding
Artisanal, all natural ice-cream brand Cold Love stated that the company raised Rs. 2.5 crores over two rounds of angel funding. Some of the funding has already been utilised to establish the company’s commissary, set up cafes, and spend on digital marketing.
Cold Love raised capital in two angel rounds with individual investors Tarun Sawhney (Vice Chairman and MD, Triveni Engineering and Industries Ltd), and Samir Sood (Founder, Venture Highway). Both Sood and Sawhney have expressed their staunch belief in the promise and growth displayed by Cold Love.
Founded by Aditya Tripathi, Cold Love boasts a repertoire of unique flavours of premium quality ice cream- including flavours like White Choc and Green Chilly and Spiced Walnut and Rum along with . The brand looks forward to “becoming India’s first national artisanal ice cream brand” as stated by Tripathi.
Cold Love presently operates four cafes in Delhi-NCR and one in Jodhpur, and offers home delivery in Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Lucknow. The company plans to expand to at least 10 cities very soon.
