Cloud Kitchen Startup CureFoods announces merger with Maverix

The cloud kitchen giant Curefoods has recently announced that it has entered into a merger deal with a Mumbai based food tech platform Maverix which is backed by players like Accel Partners and Swiggy. The financials of the deal remain undisclosed by the parties.

Maverix is one such company with significant experience and market know-how and has also created stellar food brands that are recognised and loved in key markets. Together, we now have the largest manufacturing capability in the fresh food space. With the recent merger, Maverix will be able to enhance its manufacturing capabilities along with marking its strong presence in the market. Furthermore, following this deal, Curefoods would emerge as the second largest cloud kitchen player in India in terms of its footprint. The manufacturing capabilities of the cloud kitchen would also become one of largest in the fresh food space.
