Cloud kitchen company Curefoods buys franchise rights for US-based pizza chain Sbarro

Curefoods is a cloud kitchen-based firm that houses manufacturers like EatFit, CakeZone and Great Indian Khichdi announced the acquisition of the South India franchise rights for US-based pizza chain Sbarro. Sbarro is an American pizzeria chain specialized New York-style pizzas and is present currently in 630 areas throughout 28 nations.
Ankit Nagaori, CEO of curefoods plans to launch 50 Sbarro in the next 3 years beginning with Karnataka and the expansion will include a mixture of walk-in retailers and cloud kitchens to ensure maximum customer reach.

As a result of this partnership, The first Curefoods-owned Sbarro outlet is set to open in Bengaluru within the next quarter. Sbarro India’s grasp franchise rights are operated by Upper Crust Foods.
