Cloud-based SaaS startup Amagi turns unicorn, raises about $95M from Accel, Norwest, Avataar


Amagi, the Cloud-based SaaS technology company raised about $95 million in a funding round led by Accel with participation from the existing investors Norwest Venture Partners and Avataar Ventures. Amagi’s valuation by this latest investment makes it to more than $1 billion, making it one of the highest-valued media tech companies worldwide and a unicorn. A 108 percent year-on-year growth in revenues has also been announced by the startup.
