Bizongo names Prasanth Nair as their Head of Engineering

Prasanth Nair has joined Bizongo, a vendor digitalization platform for brands and businesses, as the new senior vice president of engineering. This is the third senior-level hire made by the business in the previous six months.
Nair, who has more than 20 years of expertise in the field, will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s goods are innovative and technologically advanced in addition to increasing Bizongo’s operational effectiveness.
“Prasanth’s breadth of experience, passion for technology, and commitment to developing platforms and products that solve real-world problems make him fit with who we are and where we are going,” said Sachin Agrawal, co-founder & CEO, Bizongo.
To help manufacturers and businesses in a variety of industries, including textile, agricultural, consumer durables, FMCG, and metals, increase their manufacturing capacity and address procurement difficulties, Bizongo is enhancing its technology stack and launching newer solutions.
“Bizongo’s technology stack, with the application of innovative machine-learning, AI, and IoT drew me in and I knew I wanted to be part of this journey and shape this ecosystem which is future ready,” said Prasanth Nair.
Prior to this, Nair oversaw engineering and product strategy for organisations such as ClearTax, Yahoo, Amazon, Flipkart, and Lazada Group. Along with the knowledge he has gained working for several firms, he co-founded the B2B cross-border eCommerce platform Bzaar.
Additionally, he has established and managed engineering teams to build scalable software and platforms for Fortune 50 organisations and VC-backed digital startups.
