Apple Hires Former BMW Executive Ulrich Kranz For Its Car Project

Apple INC hired a former senior executive at BMW AG’s electric car division, Ulrich Kranz, to help its vehicle initiatives. Apple hires former BMW executive, Ulrich Kranz who was the most recent Chief Executive of electric vehicle startup Canoo Inc will meet Apple Veteran Doug Field, who initiated the Development of Tesla Inc’s mass-market Model 3 and now runs Apple’s Car project.

Project Titan, The iPhone Maker’s automative efforts began evenly in 2014 when Apple first started designing its own vehicle from scratch. In December, Reuters confirmed that Apple is investing its self-driving car technology and targeting to produce a passenger vehicle that will include its own breakthrough battery technology by 2024
