Venture capital firm Antler has successfully raised $285 million for its Antler Elevate fund, aimed at providing support to growth-stage startups. The fund will focus on participating in Series A funding rounds and beyond, offering scale-up capital to companies that have achieved a strong product-market fit and demonstrated compounding growth. Many of these companies have previously received support from Antler’s early-stage funds, which span over 20 ecosystems. The announcement was made by the VC fund in a recent blog post.
“Antler Elevate is a natural progression for Antler as our portfolio expands. It enables us to offer continued support throughout the growth journey of exciting companies globally, extending our support beyond the Seed stage up to Series C,” said Martell Hardenberg, Partner at Antler. “Fast-growing businesses require significant capital, and having a committed partner like Antler is instrumental in financing their ongoing growth.” “To do this, we are leveraging Antler’s 25-office localised footprint and data-driven knowledge base to source investment opportunities at scale,” he added.
Established in 2017, Antler is a leading early-stage venture capital firm operating across 17 geographies. With a mission to support and invest in startups, the firm has already seeded and funded over 750 companies spanning various industries and technologies. Antler aims to back more than 6,000 companies by the year 2030, fueling innovation and entrepreneurial growth. In January 2022, Antler India selected a group of 19 student entrepreneurs to join its inaugural Antler India Fellowship cohort, further expanding its reach and impact.
“Pairing our proprietary day zero residency model with unique investing and operating insights, we believe the introduction of our multi-stage platform gives our portfolio companies further advantage across major technology ecosystems,” added Teddy Himler, Partner at Antler.
