Alok Pandey is now a co-founder and chief technology officer of Raise Financial Services

Raise Financial, a Mumbai-based fintech startup announced on Monday that Alok Pandey has been named co-founder and chief technology officer. Pandey was the chief technical officer at Rupeeseed Technologies before joining Raise, which he co-founded in 2012.
Raise is a technology-driven platform that caters to both long-term investors and super traders. It hopes to provide further fintech solutions in the financing, insurance, and wealth management areas after it was founded in January 2021.
Pravin Jadhav, founder of Raise was a founder member of Paytm Money, the company’s wealth management section, and served as its chief executive in 2018. After that, he went to work on Raise.

Beenext and Mirae Asset Venture Investments, 3one4 Capital, and Rocketship VC led a fresh $22 million investment round for Raise in January. Deepinder Goyal of Zomato, Harsh Jain of Dream11, Gaurav Munjal of Unacademy, and Harshil Mathur of Razorpay are among the other angel investors in the startup.
Prior to it, the company had received seed funding from Mirae Asset Venture Investments, which included a number of well-known unicorn founders and CEOs. In February, the company introduced DhanHQ, an application programming interface (API) platform for investing and trading. The goal was to allow traders to use their own trading techniques and develop their own trading platforms based on their individual needs and trade logic.
The company also announced the acquisition of Mumbai-based stock broker Moneylicious Securities in August of last year.
