Airbnb Reports Strong Q3 2025 as US Travel Demand Rebounds

Airbnb Inc. posted robust third-quarter 2025 financial results driven by a rebound in US travel demand and strong bookings across global markets. The company reported revenue of $4.10 billion, a 9.7% year-over-year increase, surpassing analysts’ expectations. Gross bookings surged 14% to $22.9 billion, reflecting rising consumer confidence and greater advance planning for vacations.

The platform recorded a total of 133.6 million nights and experiences booked during the quarter, beating forecasts and marking solid growth momentum. Notable regional performance included double-digit growth in Latin America, with Brazil benefiting from an interest-free payment plan, a 27% jump in domestic bookings in Japan, and a significant increase in first-time users in India. In North America, nights booked rose moderately, aided by new payment options encouraging early reservations.

Airbnb posted a net income of $1.37 billion, or $2.21 per share, slightly below analysts’ projections but reflecting solid profitability. Adjusted EBITDA reached a record $2.1 billion, underlining the company’s efficiency in converting revenue growth into earnings.

Looking ahead, Airbnb provided a positive outlook for Q4 2025, forecasting revenue between $2.66 billion and $2.72 billion—above Wall Street estimates—signaling sustained demand entering the holiday season despite macroeconomic uncertainties.

CEO Brian Chesky emphasized continued investment in product innovations like enhanced maps, flexible cancellation policies, and expanded AI integration to improve guest and host experiences. These initiatives position Airbnb well to capitalize on evolving travel behaviors and preferences.

In summary, Airbnb’s Q3 results reflect a strong recovery in US travel demand complemented by global market expansion. With healthy booking growth, improved profitability, and confident guidance, Airbnb remains well poised to benefit from ongoing travel industry rebounds and technological enhancements.
