Aditya Bagarka has been named Head of Strategy and Innovation at Plum

Plum, a Bengaluru-based employee health insurance platform, introduced Aditya Bagarka as its new Head of Strategy and Innovation on Monday. Bagarka comes from ICICI Lombard, where he spent over a decade, most recently as Deputy Vice President – Wholesale Products, where he was responsible for the startup and affinity business.

He claims to be focusing on product innovation in his new post at Plum, where he will work with insurer partners to simplify and digitize the customer experience. The firm just announced the hiring of six new executives in marketing, sales, account management, partnerships, and people success, with the goal of reaching 1,000 workers by 2024.

Plum, founded by Abhishek Poddar and Saurabh Arora in 2019, provides real-time insurance design and pricing, allowing businesses to acquire insurance in three clicks and providing employees with a hassle-free claim experience through an integrated digital procedure.
