Ad-Free search engine Neeva to launch in India, by the next year, says CEO Sridhar

Sridhar Ramaswamy was part of the early engineering team that built Google search and later he led Google’s advertising product. But, in 2018 he gave up all, as he believed that ads distract from good search experience which can lead to unintended social consequences.
Later in 2019, with his former colleague, vivek Raghunathan, he started up an ad- free search engine, Neeva.
Search is a $150 billion business and growing at 20%. It has become an integral part of advertising growing significantly where one incumbent has over 90% shares.
Neeva was wholly designed to create a great experience and ad free subscriptions that focuses on what customers need, as opposed to what advertisers need.

Neeva visions to broadly go deep into the customer’s demand than making advertising a half focus. A new search engine we see a future.
