Actor, Producer Anushka Sharma invests in D2C Snack brand Slurrp Farm

Wholsum Foods, the parent company of the kids-focussed snack brand ‘Slurrp Farm’, raises an undisclosed amount of investment from the actor, producer and entrepreneur Anushka Sharma.
Other than an investor, Anushka Sharma, an advocate of the healthy lifestyle, will be tying up with Wholsum Foods as the brand ambassador and advocate of the Slurrp Farm and all other brands that Wholsum Foods will be soon launching.
Launched in 2016 by Meghana Narayan and Shauravi Malik, two mothers, Wholesome Foods, the parent company of Slurrp Farm, offers millet- based, wholesome snacks for kids in a wide variety through its website and other platforms including Amazon, BigBasket, FirstCry, and Swiggy Instamart, amongst others The founders intended to provide tasty snacks, using the nutrition of ancient Indian millets with zero junk ingredients.

Recently turned mother, Anushka Sharma is an ardent supporter of healthy, conscious choices. She completely resonates with the founders’ noble intention of providing nutrition on the plates of kids around the world. Her Investment comes precisely ahead of the International Year of Millets in 2023.
Slurrp Farm has recorded a revenue annual run rate (ARR) of INR 55 Cr. for FY21. It intends to triple its revenue ARR for FY22 to INR 150 Cr.
This D2C start-up has raised $7 million in its funding round, led by Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) and its existing investor, Fireside Ventures.
