Ashneer Grover launches employer backed lending platform Fund My Staff

Ashneer Grover, former MD and co-founder of BharatPe, has launched Fund My Staff, a new fintech platform that enables employers to facilitate loans for their employees by acting as guarantors. Grover announced the launch of the platform in a LinkedIn post on Thursday.
The platform is designed for employers who want to support their workforce with access to credit, and for staff members with limited or no credit history who require financing backed by their employer’s guarantee.
According to the website, employers can onboard staff, set the loan amount, review loan requests, and approve them by acting as guarantors. Once approved, the loan is disbursed to the employee, who repays it through monthly EMIs.
Employees can also initiate the process by sending a loan request to their employer. After the employer approves the request, the loan is processed and repaid in EMIs.
The platform says that it operates as a Lending Service Provider (LSP) in compliance with the Reserve Bank of India’s digital lending guidelines. Loans are originated and sanctioned by RBI registered lending partners. The website currently lists Ash Grove Capital Private Limited, an RBI registered NBFC, as its lending partner.
The website also clarifies that employers do not pay the loan amount. Instead, they act as guarantors while the employee receives the funds and repays the loan over the selected tenure.
Fund My Staff has been developed by Delhi based Third Unicorn, the venture founded by Grover and Aseem Ghavri after Grover’s exit from BharatPe. In 2024, the company launched ZeroPe, a fintech app focused on financing medical expenses. It had also introduced fantasy cricket platform CrickPe, which ceased operations in February last year.
