Skye Air Mobility closed the first tranche of its series B, raising US$9 million to expand its drone delivery network and technology across the country.
The round was led by IAN Alpha Fund and included AVNM Ventures, Faad Capital, and Bajaj Capital, with US$4 million in B1 and US$5 million in B2.
Skye said the funds will scale infrastructure and deepen its Physical AI stack and Skye UTM while expanding beyond Delhi‑NCR into Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Kolkata over 18 months.
Founded in 2019, Skye Air Mobility operates a hub‑pod‑walker system that blends aerial drones with ground robotics for hyperlocal deliveries and says its drones are designed to carry payloads of up to 10 kilograms for ecommerce, healthcare, and industrial customers.
