Malaysia’s Zetrix AI raises $40m, to list AI unit on Nasdaq

Malaysia’s Zetrix AI Bhd., a digital infrastructure provider, received about US$40 million from the World Bank’s investment arm, the International Finance Corp. (IFC), and plans to list its AI unit on Nasdaq by the end of 2026.

The funding aims to support the expansion of digital infrastructure in Malaysia, Southeast Asia, and other emerging markets.

The company’s projects include supporting Malaysia’s national digital identity system and blockchain service network.
