Additionally, Althion aims to scale its operations with the establishment of a larger production facility to meet growing demand.

Speaking about the funding, Surya Rao, Founder of Althion, shared, “This investment is a huge step forward for Althion in our journey to bridge the gap in high-cost water purification solutions. Our cost-effective products, backed by our proprietary Althion Remote Monitoring System (ARMS), will enable predictive maintenance and ensure better access to high-quality water purification technologies across sectors.”

Althion’s unique offerings are designed to make water purification solutions more accessible and affordable. The company’s flagship product, the Althion tabletop laboratory water purification system, is equipped with advanced features to deliver ultra-pure water, making it ideal for use in healthcare, research, and semiconductor industries.

The company’s technology is supported by key grants and certifications, including funding for CE marking and USFDA certifications, which will help propel its expansion into global markets. Althion is particularly focused on regions such as Latin America, Africa, and Asia, where the demand for reliable and affordable water purification systems is growing.

Althion’s solutions have already gained the trust of leading institutions in India, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Homi Bhabha Memorial Cancer Centre, Narayana Hrudayalaya, and Nephroplus centres, positioning the company as a significant player in the water-tech industry.

The company’s growth aligns with the Make in India initiative and is backed by support from BIRAC, emphasizing its commitment to innovation and contributing to the country’s technological advancement in the water purification sector.
