Veranda Learning Commits Investment to Seven Promising EdTech Companies

Veranda Learning Solutions, a publicly traded educational technology (edtech) company, is set to expand its portfolio by acquiring and investing in seven businesses. These strategic moves will be facilitated through its fully owned subsidiary, Veranda Administrative Learning Solutions Private Limited.

Veranda Learning Solutions will be incorporating several entities into its portfolio, including Educare Infrastructure, Six Phrase, SmartBridge, Talent Academy & Publications, Phire Learning, and BAssure. These businesses will now operate under the Veranda Learning Solutions umbrella.

Veranda Learning Solutions announced in a press release that the combined value of these acquisitions exceeds Rs 400 crore. The company anticipates that these acquisitions will contribute to an estimated EBITDA of Rs 50 crore for the fiscal year 2023-24. Moreover, the addition of these associations is expected to elevate Veranda Learning Solutions’ pro forma EBITDA to over Rs 100 crore for the same fiscal year.

The acquisition of Educare Infra by Veranda Learning Solutions presents an opportunity for the company to enhance its presence in the K-12 school and college education sector. Leveraging the proficiency in learning management systems offered by Veranda Labs and leveraging synergies from its existing business, Veranda aims to strengthen its operations and offer comprehensive management services to multiple schools.

Veranda has been providing its services to a range of educational institutions, including schools and colleges. With this new association, Veranda will expand its clientele to include prominent institutions such as Velammal Nexus school, BVM Schools, Chettinad Public School, IIM Raipur, IIM Shillong, Purdue University (USA), and more.
