Battery-tech startup EMO Energy achieves INR 10 Crore ($1.2 Million) in seed funding round led by Transition VC, with co-leadership from Gruhas.
EMO Energy introduces ZEN, a cutting-edge battery pack for light electric vehicles (EVs), with standout features including 100% Fire Safety, 20-minute Fast Charging, and an impressive 120% Enhancement in Battery Life. EMO Energy’s AIS-156 Phase 2 Certified battery system for 2 and 3-wheelers is now in full-scale production and can be conveniently purchased directly from EMO.
Transition VC’s maiden investment from their newly launched INR 400 crore Energy Transition-focused fund goes to EMO Energy in the form of seed funding.

The platform features a revolutionary 20-minute charging battery pack designed for 2 and 3 wheelers, providing advantages such as cost-effectiveness, an extensive 5-year warranty, and remarkable enhancements in the longevity of standard NMC and LFP cells. Rigorously tested over 10,000 kilometers in harsh conditions by various original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and fleet operators, the battery pack demonstrates exceptional performance and durability.
