MSMEs invited to apply for National Award 2023

The National MSME Award 2023 is now open for applications, as announced by the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Eligible MSMEs are required to have Udyam registration to apply for the awards, and the deadline for submission is on May 10, 2023. Interested parties can choose from five categories, which include manufacturing, service, state awards, aspirational districts, and banks. The manufacturing and service categories fall under the enterprise section.
Entrepreneurs in the MSME sector can apply for the National MSME Award 2023 by May 10, 2023, if they have Udyam registration. Those without Udyam registration can easily register on msme.gov.in. The awards recognize entrepreneurs for their performance and innovative efforts, promoting the development of MSMEs.
The categories for the awards are manufacturing, service, state, aspirational districts, and banks. Moreover, the ministry has initiated national rankings for state/UT governments and Aspirational Districts to encourage the growth and development of MSMEs in their jurisdiction.
In the same vein, bankers are also eligible for rankings based on their performance in extending credit to micro and small enterprises.
