Startup using blockchain Balaji Srinivasan, an angel investor, has been named as Permissionless’ first investor. Recently, the former CTO of Coinbase made an undisclosed investment in Async, an open-source work ecosystem created by Permissionless. The platform’s founder, Roshan Vadassery, stated that Permissionless wants to grow the number of contributors on the platform and develop more integrated productivity tools for borderless and asynchronous work with additional financing.
“Balaji Srinivasan is an inspiration and a big brother to young entrepreneurs who work on novel solutions to complex problems. We at Permissionless feel nothing but joy to have him place his belief with us in spreading and building public infrastructure to support a real network state one day,” he added. Async was introduced by Permissionless last week with the goal of gamifying productivity. There are currently 60 people working with the company, which has locations in Delhi, Mumbai, New York, and Dubai. Additionally, Async just acquired $250,000 in startup money from the community via a token sale.
