“I’ve always had a desire to do everything in my ability to improve people’s lives, and this desire and compassion drove me to enter the field of orthodontics by enhancing people’s smiles,” said Priyanka Goyat, co-founder of Rejove in a conversation with Startup Story.
The drive to make people’s lives better led Priyanka Goyat to start Rejove, a dental & skin care clinic in Delhi NCR. Known for its relentless pursuit of excellence, Rejové has made quite a name for itself within the healthcare sector. Patients and non-patients get individualised attention because of its dedication to customizing its services to each person’s specific needs. They make sure things are delivered professionally, with the greatest quality requirements met at an affordable price. Their extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry and its services have helped them rise to the top. They have a staff of experts on hand, and they’re backed by cutting-edge technology.
Covid 19 caused a huge blow to every industry, the dental industry was not an exception. To provide unhindered service to people Rejové opted for a leaner management style emphasizing eliminating the extra expenses. Amidst all the evil that the pandemic has done, it also led to a significant increase in the adoption of more advanced technology. Despite financial trouble, they continued providing uninterrupted services to those in need.
Post covid trends in the dental healthcare
In an interview with Startup Story, co-founder Priyanka Goyat said, “ Probably one of the greatest lessons that the pandemic taught us was the importance of having a healthy lifestyle. Increased awareness around how dental conditions such as malocclusion, misalignment, etc impact an individual’s health accompanied by the growing demand for facial aesthetics has led to a significant rise in demand for dental treatments. This has led to a significant surge in demand for Dental Aligners and other dentofacial treatments, especially amongst the younger strata of society.”
Rejove’s contribution in orthodontics
Rejove introduced its range of invisible aligners last year intending to provide the best orthodontic treatment. They took the help of modern technology and experienced doctors. Priyanka Goyat claims that the clear aligners are professionally designed for advanced orthodontic treatment and can be used by anyone belonging to any age group. While talking about their innovation, Priyanka also mentioned that these modern aligners are hardly noticeable since they are made of high-grade biomaterial and printed using 3D printing technology. They are tailored to each individual’s specifications to offer the highest level of comfort. There are no dietary constraints associated with these aligners, and they also allow for an almost undetectable appearance.
As with many other fields, orthodontics has been profoundly impacted by technological developments over the last several decades. With the help of cutting-edge innovations like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), 3D printing (3D printing), 3D scanning (3D scanning), nanorobotics (nanorobotics), computed tomography (CT), computer-aided surgical planning and computer-aided medical imaging (CADCAM), etc., Rejové has not only been able to improve diagnosis and evaluate the patient’s medical conditions but also anticipate the final results of their treatment. In addition, they can now give the patients an image of how the surgery might turn out. The introduction of nanorobotics has had a decisive impact on the orthodontic industry’s approach to diagnostics as a whole. Scanners based on nanorobotics have allowed Rejové, to do an oral cavity scan in 60 seconds with 98% accuracy.
Scope and performance of AI in Orthodontics
When enquired about the performance of AI-based models in orthodontics, Priyanka affirmed that there is a lot of promise. Artificial intelligence’s sophisticated pattern identification and prediction algorithms are being utilized increasingly throughout the orthodontic sector, resulting in enhanced efficiency in picture diagnosis and the generation of a precise plan of action. Clinicians are now able to make more informed judgments with the help of AI and ML algorithms, leading to improved outcomes as a whole. Since AI removes room for human follies, the conclusions are very reliable. As a consequence of the convergence of dental science and technology, orthodontists can provide higher-quality treatment to their patients.
