Hudle, a sports technology startup, has received $1 million in a round-headed by Inflection Point Ventures. Current investors Survam Partners & Indian Angel Network also participated in the funding round, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
The funds obtained will be used to fuel development in new and existing geographies, enhance the business and technical teams, marketing, and new product additions.
“Hudle, a sports tech startup, has acquired $1 million as part of its rolling Series A round sponsored by Inflection Point Ventures,” according to the release. Hudle, which appeared in 2018, is a smartphone app that allows sports aficionados to discover and schedule sporting events.
Hudle, according to Vinay Bansal, Ceo, and Founder of Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), bridges the gap by allowing people to explore and book numerous sports venues, and events, plus pursue their favorite sport as a pastime or fitness activity. “At IPV, we believe in supporting purpose-driven firms who are committed to establishing a sustainable business & filling a market niche.”
“We believe strongly in scaling up via cooperation & bringing together all stakeholders,” stated Suhail Narain, Ceo and Founder of Hudle, “and are delighted to welcome IPV onto the board.”
Founded in 2015 by Suhail Narain, Hudle is a digital platform for sports enthusiasts to find and book a curated list of sports events and venues on the app.
