Shipsy, a SaaS platform, has raised $25 million in a Series B round


Shipsy, a SaaS-based smart logistics management platform provider, has secured $25 million in a Series B round headed by A91 Partners and Z3 Partners, with existing investors Info Edge and Sequoia Capital India’s Surge also participating.

The Gurugram-based business intends to utilize the funds to expand its presence in the Middle East, India, and Southeast Asia, as well as accelerate global development into new areas including Europe and the United States.

Shipsy, a startup founded by Soham Chokshi, Dhruv Agarwal, Himanshu Gupta, and Sahil Arora in 2015, assists shippers and logistics companies in digitizing and automating their processes.

The company now has a presence in India, Dubai, and Indonesia, and claims to have over 160 customers worldwide. It is claimed that it procures over 100 million pounds of freight each month and optimizes the transit of over 2 million packages per day.

Shipsy has previously received $6 million in its Series A round in 2020. A year before, Info Edge had led a pre-Series A financing in the firm.
