CoutLoot, India’s largest offline to online social commerce network, has created a video commerce feature that allows small businesses to communicate with potential consumers via short online films.
According to the startup, which is modelled like Taobao, creative economy-led revenue streams might see a tremendous increase, enhancing the social experience of both sellers and customers. Over 6.5 lakh sellers can use the app’s new video commerce plugin format to upload a video and describe their products.

CoutLoot has raised $10 million in funding from investors such as Ameba Capital, 9 Unicorns, and Astarc Ventures. The latest feature, according to the corporation, is designed to acquire buyers’ trust, which can lead to a greater influence on purchasing decisions.
The social ecommerce network has just introduced a B2B side of the business, which connects its sellers with factories for low-cost product procurement. CoutLoot’s GMV increased sevenfold in the calendar year 2021, with its platform reaching.
