Athlete Neeraj Chopra joins GoodDot as its brand ambassador
GoodDot, a plant-based meat company based in Udaipur, announced today that Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra has joined the company as a brand ambassador.The athlete Neeraj Chopra will also play a crucial role in the brand’s objective to raise awareness about the category of plant-based meats and inspire consumers to make compassionate eating choices, according to the company.Abhishek Sinha (CEO) and Deepak Parihar (CFO) created the plant-based meat company in 2016 with the goal of providing consumers with an ethical and sustainable meat alternative.
Mutton, chicken, and eggs are not the only options available on GoodDot. Amazon and Flipkart are two online platforms where the firm distributes its products. It also caters to customers in Canada, Singapore, Nepal, Dubai, South Africa, Mauritius, and Oman, in addition to India.”Team GoodDot is thrilled to welcome Neeraj Chopra to our common aim to make the world a more compassionate place,” stated Abhishek Sinha, co-founder and CEO of GoodDot. GoodDot received an undisclosed amount of money from domestic consumer-focused fund Sixth Sense Ventures in July 2021. New Crop Capital and RCM Business, both based in the United States, are also investors in the firm.Earlier, Bollywood couple Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza had launched their own plant-based meat products business named Imagine Meats.
