As part of the iTIC-TiHAN IIT-H incubation program, iTIC Incubator at IIT Hyderabad recently selected 6 startups from all over India, working in the field of autonomous navigation to support them through pre-incubation support and incubation. An onboarding ceremony was organized to facilitate and encourage leading startups in this field. Incubator
IIT-H’s incubator iTIC-TiHAN (Technology Innovation Hub on Autonomous Navigation) is investing up to 25 Lakhs INR each in prototype-ready startups, namely, UAVIO Labs working on building sensitive drones, Alog Tech building an autonomous indoor logistics ecosystem for warehousing and Aviac working on ecological monitoring using drones. iTIC is also investing up to 10 Lakhs INR each in start-up startups, namely Rovonize, which builds surveillance drones, Qotpars, which makes the best drones for video and photo applications, and Adiabetic, which is working on the passive thermal cooling system for Li-ion batteries.
In addition to investments, startups will benefit from structured mentoring, coworking space, access to the production lab and access to the IIT-H infrastructure. IIT Hyderabad’s iTIC incubator supports deep tech startups and will support more and more autonomous navigation startups in the coming months.
“Through the TiHAN programme, the IIT-H focuses on strengthening research capacities in the field of autonomous navigation, drones and ROVs. In addition to startups, these facilities will also be available to researchers and the industry as a whole,” said Prof. P Rajalakshmi, Project Director, TiHAN.
