Haptik releases WhatsApp-based business platform, Interakt
Jio’s Conversational AI builder Haptik announced the launch of Interakt, a business platform that will allow SMBs to operate their business entirely on WhatsApp. Through the new platform, SMBs and MSMEs will be able to access tools that will allow them to utilise WhatsApp for customer care, alerts, notifications, assisted sales and the like.
Haptik has recently reported a 300 percent year-on-year basis and announced their steadfast belief in e-commerce facilities getting developed on instant messaging platform WhatsApp.
Interakt was created to streamline access to WhatsApp API with transparent pricing. The platform will be available starting October 30, 2021.Furthermore, it will provide boxed integration with Shopify.
Aakrit Vaish, co-founder and CEO of Haptik stated, “WhatsApp is already the default platform for people in India to shop directly from brands and small businesses. […] However, it can get challenging for businesses to manage these interactions at scale. We believe there will be a time when WhatsApp will become the largest channel for such transactions, even bigger than the web. We have built Interakt to power this new conversational commerce economy.”
The platform will be run as a separate independent business line by Jio Haptik.
