Amnio Technology receives U.S. Patent on Amniotic Allografts.

Among the world’s premier developers and distributors of amniotic tissue allografts, Amnio Technology GmbH announced today it has been awarded a new patent titled “Enriched Multilayer Amnion Derived Tissue Graft.”. Amnio’s new patent has strengthened its intellectual property position by further protecting its advanced allograft manufacturing processes in the United States.
Now, Amnio Technology holds five patents in the U.S. This year, the company was awarded a patent in the European Union titled “Acellular Amnion Derived Therapeutic Compositions.”.
“This newest patent issuance highlights the investments Amnio Technology has made in the areas of human tissue-based product manufacturing excellence and clinical utility,” said Rob Diller, the senior director of new product development. He further says, “The fact that we are able to protect the intellectual property of our continued allograft research speaks to the high caliber of our research team.”
William Brown, Managing Director of Operations, added to what Rob said by saying that the company is pleased to know that ‘their advancements in regenerative medicine are continuously recognized by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and its international counterparts.
