By 2028, hrysler, the most well-known 96-year-old Stellantis brand in minivans, will be an all-electric brand. This was announced at the launch of the Chrysler Airflow Concept. This is an all-wheel drive electric SUV concept with two electric motors and a battery that can run 350-400 miles on a single charge.
Stellantis does not say whether the Airflow concept will be mass-produced. For now, Airflow aims to provide insights into the design and technology that will shape the brand’s future portfolio. The first real product of the future of the Chrysler new EV will be on the market within a few years. A global automaker founded by the merger of Fiat Chrysler and the PSA Group in France, announced that the first battery-powered electric vehicles will be on the market by 2025.
As of, the brand’s nameplate has only three vehicles: the Chrysler Pacifica and the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Minivan, and the Chrysler 300 Sedan. According to Chrysler CEO Chris Foyer, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, a plug-in hybrid that hit the market in early 2017, was a stepping stone to the brand’s journey.

The Chrysler Airflow Concept is an SUV with ground clearance and a two-tone roofline aimed at improving aerodynamics, improving range and at the same time giving the vehicle an athletic stance. The vehicle’s long wheelbase and wide truck are paired with 22-inch wheels to complete the look.
The goal here is to introduce a premium SUV. This is achieved by a series of exterior and interior accents from the panoramic roof and lighting, turning into the Chrysler Wing logo according to passenger preference. The grill contains a light blade. It is illuminated by crystal LED lighting.
