Junk to medicines everything at your step in 10 minutes? Zepto an Indian grocery delivery startup started last year by two Stanford dropouts Palicha and kavilya Vohra, has witnessed great response in its business. The nine months old company is alleged to explore the Pharma space in time.
The Pharma space would extend the reach of the corporate and convey it against the likes of established companies like Pharmeasy, Netmeds etc. Meanwhile it is also piloting ‘cafe’ service wherein it will deliver beverages along with your favourite snacks.

Zepto has reportedly gained $360 million up to recently. It has pranced 60% compared to previous fundraise last year during December hitting $900 million after the newest round. The Covid 19 outrage proved to be a boon for the Pharma industry attracting investors and startups in this field and has seen the entry of large industries like Tata group which picked up Netmeds.
It’s probably a category we will be excited about in the future, “There will be a lot of innovation that will need to be done in this space. This is something we will focus on in the medium to long term and probably not in the short term” said Palicha.
