Jharkhand Health Minister Invites ‘Doctors On Duty’ to Digi Health Conclave Jharkhand- 2026, Sees ‘DOD Health Assessment PODs’ as a Key Link to Bringing Digital Healthcare Closer to Every Community.

Ranchi, October 2026.

What began as a health-tech innovation has now found a place among the conversations shaping the future of digital healthcare in Jharkhand. DOD – Doctors On Duty was invited by Dr. Irfan Ansari, Hon’ble Minister, Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, to showcase its AI-powered Health Kiosk at the Digi Health Conclave Jharkhand 2026, held on September 30 and October 1 at Chanakya BNR, Ranchi. The invitation followed the Minister’s interaction with DOD’s Health Kiosk at Bharat Mandapam, where he took note of the technology and its potential to make health screening and digital healthcare more accessible.

Held under the theme “Accelerating Jharkhand’s Digital Health Transformation,” the two-day conclave brought together senior government officials, healthcare leaders, doctors, health-tech companies, startups and representatives from the National Health Authority and ABDM ecosystem. The official agenda focused on some of the most pressing areas in healthcare technology today, from AI and smart hospitals to telemedicine, digital health infrastructure and indigenous medical devices.

For DOD, the invitation carried particular significance. According to the company, the Health Kiosk was among a select group of 22 startups invited to participate in the conclave, giving DOD an opportunity to demonstrate its technology before an audience that included senior policymakers, healthcare administrators and digital-health leaders.

At the heart of DOD’s showcase was its AI-powered Health Kiosk, designed to bring multiple health assessments and digital healthcare services together through a technology-enabled point of care. The kiosk can facilitate assessments including ECG and cardiac parameters, blood pressure, blood glucose, vision, lung function and body composition, while enabling digital health reporting and technology-enabled access to doctors.

The significance of the showcase extended beyond the technology itself. With the conclave placing strong emphasis on last-mile healthcare delivery, telemedicine, AI and technology-enabled healthcare infrastructure, DOD’s kiosk demonstrated a model where health assessment and medical access can potentially be brought closer to communities, workplaces, institutions and other high-footfall environments. The event agenda specifically highlighted telemedicine for remote and tribal districts as well as IoT-enabled point-of-care diagnostic devices.

The DOD kiosk also drew interaction from several prominent healthcare and government leaders attending the conclave, including Shri Ajoy Kumar Singh, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Government of

Jharkhand; Dr. Neha Arora, Special Secretary, Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare; Dr. Pankaj Kumar Arora, Director, National Health Authority; Dr. R.S. Sharma, IAS, Former CEO, National Health Authority; and Dr. Sunil Kumar Barnwal, IAS, CEO, National Health Authority.

The presence of these senior stakeholders at a platform dedicated to digital healthcare created an opportunity for DOD to place its technology within a larger conversation — one that is increasingly moving from digital health as an idea to technology that can be deployed in real-world healthcare environments.

For DOD’s founders, Dr. Shrey Srivastav and Dr. Prashant Swarnkar, the invitation also represents a moment of recognition for the company’s efforts to combine healthcare expertise with technology. The opportunity to demonstrate the Health Kiosk at a government-led conclave alongside leading healthcare institutions, policymakers and health-tech innovators marks an important moment in DOD’s journey.

“Being invited to showcase DOD’s Health Kiosk at the Digi Health Conclave Jharkhand is a meaningful milestone for us. The opportunity to interact with senior healthcare leaders and demonstrate how technology can bring health screening and medical access closer to people reinforces our belief in building healthcare solutions that are practical, accessible and scalable. We are grateful for the opportunity and look forward to exploring how DOD’s technology can contribute to the evolving digital healthcare ecosystem in Jharkhand and across India.” — Dr. Shrey Srivastav and Dr. Prashant Swarnkar, DOD.

The Digi Health Conclave also featured discussions on AI moving from pilot projects towards scale, digital-health startups and health-tech innovation, as well as indigenous medical-device manufacturing and point-of-care diagnostics.

For DOD, the takeaway from Ranchi goes beyond a two-day showcase. It reflects a growing space for technology-led healthcare solutions that can bring screening, digital health information and access to medical professionals closer to the point where people need them.

As India’s healthcare ecosystem continues to adopt AI, telemedicine and connected diagnostics, DOD’s presence at the Digi Health Conclave Jharkhand represents its effort to be part of that transition, not simply by building healthcare technology, but by taking it closer to the people and places where it can be used.
