Paid subscription service to be brought up my TuneIn to all Amazon Alexa-enabled devices

TuneIn, today announced that it will be bringing its TuneIn Premium subscription service to all Amazon Alexa-enabled devices. TuneIn Premium content, which includes commercial-free news, live sports and commercial-free music, from their Alexa-enabled devices can be accessed by its users. By saying “Alexa, listen to sports”, you’ll be able to listen to MLB, NHL and college sports games.
On Alexa-enabled devices, users have been able to listen to TuneIn’s regular content for several years now, so the addition of the company’s premium service is a welcome expansion to the devices.
TuneIn Premium costs $9.99 per month, but a free three-month trial is offered to new users by Amazon and TuneIn. TuneIn Premium comes with more than 600 commercial-free music stations and a banner ad-free experience, along with live broadcasts of NFL, NHL, and college football and basketball games. Currently, in more than 100 countries the subscription service is available.

TuneIn CEO Richard Stern said in a press release that today’s announcement is just one of the “many developments” in its product pipeline in the smart home device space, has been planned by the company.
“To be anywhere listening is occurring has been aimed by TuneIn. They deliver on this mission and enable TuneIn in launching TuneIn Premium on Alexa, and an expansive catalog of premium content to stay well informed and entertained is Alexa customers easy access, said Stern.
As they look ahead, this is just one of the many developments they have in their product pipeline in the smart home device space. Listeners can easily listen to their favorite TuneIn Premium shows and stations with a simple voice command, through this collaboration with Alexa.
