Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal has purchased a super-luxury apartment at DLF’s iconic residential project, The Camellias, in Gurugram for a staggering ₹52.3 crore. The transaction, made directly from real estate giant DLF Limited, was formalized in March this year.
According to documents accessed by real estate analytics platform Zapkey, Goyal paid ₹3.66 crore in stamp duty to acquire the apartment, which spans a massive 10,813 square feet and includes five parking spaces. The deal was originally struck in June 2022, with the conveyance deed registered on March 17, 2025.
Sources in the real estate industry estimate that the current market value of the property could exceed ₹100 crore, reflecting the sharp appreciation in ultra-luxury real estate in the National Capital Region (NCR).
Located in DLF Phase-5, The Camellias is among the most coveted residential addresses in the NCR, offering 5-star hotel-like amenities, panoramic golf course views, and ultra-exclusive services. The project continues to draw high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs, cementing its status as the playground of India’s elite.
This purchase adds to Goyal’s high-profile luxury portfolio, which includes an impressive car collection featuring models like the Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato, Ferrari Roma, Porsche 911 Turbo S, Aston Martin DB12, and BMW M8 Competition.
Big-Ticket Deals Fuel The Camellias’ Rise
Goyal now joins an elite list of residents at The Camellias. In recent years, the project has witnessed several headline-making transactions. In December 2024, Info-X Software Technology CEO Rishi Parti acquired a penthouse for ₹190 crore. A month later, Wesbok Lifestyle director Smiti Agarwal, wife of V Bazaar CMD Hemant Agarwal, bought an apartment for ₹95 crore.
Other well-known names such as MakeMyTrip founder Deep Kalra, Den Networks’ Sameer Manchanda, and Assago Group’s Ashish Gurnani also call The Camellias home.
As India’s luxury real estate segment continues to attract record investments, developments like DLF’s The Camellias have become more than just residential spaces—they represent a new era of luxury living for India’s wealthiest class.
