Samudai, a Web3 DAO (Decentralised Autonomous Organization) platform for developing and managing communities, has raised $2.5 million in a pre-seed round led by FTX Ventures, Sino Global Capital, and Coinbase Ventures. Balaji Srinivasan and Sandeep Nailwal, the creator of Polygon, were among the famous angel investors that participated in the round.
Kushagra Agarwal and Navin founded Samudai in Singapore earlier this year. The startup wants to release a comprehensive productivity suite for DAOs, as well as a project management network and other collaboration tools for Web3 users.
Navin, the co-founder of Samudai said that the firm appreciates the support of such well-known investors in innovation, which will enable DAO Admins and contributors to maintain a good work-life balance while improving global coordination in this industry.

He also stated that the firm feels that a positive work culture may make DAOs outstanding and defendable, but that administrators and members are now focusing too much on operational difficulties. To address this, it created a platform that provides DAO teams and contributors with a better understanding of how contributors interact and, most significantly, improves efficiency by centralising and simplifying processes.
Samudai wants to release a private alpha version of its platform to a select set of users this summer, around the middle of July, followed by a public beta phase in 2022. The funds collected will be used by the platform to expand its workforce, speed development, and bring the platform to market.
