- ByStartupStory | August 17, 2022
The semiconductor cohort of the AIC T-Hub Foundation programme was started by technology incubator T-Hub based in telangana to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among startups in the semiconductor industry.
Through expert-led seminars, specialized mentoring, market access, and contacts with investors and businesses, the program will help entrepreneurs negotiate the difficulties of scaling the startup.
M Srinivasa Rao, chief executive officer (CEO) of T-Hub, said in a statement “Indian engineers have contributed massively to the semiconductor sector while working with global companies. Therefore, we must aid them in setting up and scaling their design startups with solid support from the ecosystem,”
Through this programme, “T-Hub and AIC are attempting to give the semiconductor companies access to the appropriate mentorship, finance channels, and networking opportunities,” MSR continued.
In this six-month hybrid cohort-based programme, 20 startups with potentially game-changing technology that may in the future transform semiconductor supply chains will be mentored.
The startups will be chosen based on their technological innovation, suitability for the market, scalability, and team structure. Startups who are interested in participating can apply here by September 5.

The program’s semiconductor cohort will make sure that the chosen entrepreneurs receive tailored advice for product commercialization and market access from international industry mentors.
T-Hub and AIM will assist the entrepreneurs in establishing government relationships with GAETEC (Galium Arsenide Technology Centre), Semiconductor Complex, and Indian Semiconductor Mission (ISM) for speedy compliance, certification, and testing to enter the market with ease.
With the help of T-Hub partners like the Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) and Qualcomm, startups will have free access to Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software tools for Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) front and back-end development and evaluation platforms to create, verify, and simulate fabless designs.
